Regents Earth Science: Teaching in My Living Room

This is the first year that I’ve taught in my own home, and I have to say, it’s going well.  Class is a bit crowded, but the students are troopers and they are good at working together in close quarters.

Here's a photo from class. I put it through a cartoon filter to ensure student anonymity.

The photo below the aftermath from the experiment the kids are conducting in the previous picture.  They measured how soil and water heat up at different rates when samples are exposed to strong light.

I am really enjoying the luxury of being able to store all of my supplies for this class in the same place where I teach it!
